What if I don't have an e-mail from the company?
This is not a necessity to access the app. That’s just the advantage.You can perfectly access it with your personal mail address. All you need is a smartphone or laptop/PC, your first name, your surname and your social security number, which is already known to the company.It goes without saying that your company and UP2D8 do not exchange any personal data with each other. Please note that when entering your details, you choose whether or not to show them to other users.
What if I don't have a smartphone?
You don’t even need a smartphone. You can access the same information via your laptop/PC. To do this, go to app.up2d8.be and log in the same way as you do with your smartphone.
What if I don't have a work phone?
You don’t have to have a work phone for this. You can install this perfectly on your personal smartphone or even laptop/PC.
What will be done with my information?
It is crucial that personal data is protected according to GDPR regulations. UP2D8 is a GDPR-proof, closed platform where your organisation’s channel is only accessible to employees authorised by your organisation’s UP2D8 administrators. Any sensitive personal data is entered by the user and can be set as invisible by the user so that it is not accessible to anyone. Personal data is stored in UP2D8’s central database. For privacy and data processing conditions, please refer to the ‘Privacy and Conditions’ document that can always be found in the user profile. This document is also shared with the user during the registration process.
What is the advantage of installing the app?
Through this app, you will be more quickly informed about what is happening in the company. You can stay updated on what is happening during your breaks and even in your free time if you wish. The Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing popularity of working from home have taught us that it is still important to be able to inform our employees quickly of decisions and what is going on in the company. Hence this new communication method.
Can anyone post a message?
The posting itself is done by administrators. However, everyone is kindly asked to pass on company information that may be of collective interest to an administrator.
If someone finds out my assignment key, is there any danger that this person could hack my UP2D8 account?
No, the assignment key only serves to immediately accept and add you to the correct user groups when you log in so that the administrators don’t have to do it all manually. The administrators can also see who has used which login key.
